The engine seems to run fine and the temperature is normal even after a long run. No signs of anything else wrong. Any Ideas?

The shift lever wouldn´t budge. Assumed it was the cable so disconnected it from the gear. I can push the selector lever on the gear manually, but it doesn´t seem to engage.
