WebJun 20, 2024 · I had this happen once with a Lantas pen. It was a new pen taken right from the fridge and it would not "squirt" the insulin out. I literally had to rub the pen between my hands for quite some time (odd) before it finally released the insulin. ugh. I know Trulicity is not insulin, but the pens work in the same way.
